    Olini Cherry Vinegar has a deep crimson colour and a taste reminiscent of mature wine, the result of traditional two-stage fermentation. It is made from hand-picked cherries and aged in wood for two years. Unpasteurised and unfiltered, with no added colourings or preservatives. Enjoy it diluted in a glass of water in the morning, in a salad vinaigrette, or for marinating meat.

    About the product

    Olini Cherry Vinegar is made from hand-picked, ripe cherries from an old orchard in the Lublin region of Poland, free from GMOs. Traditional two-stage fermentation and two years of ageing in wood give it a deep crimson colour and a taste reminiscent of mature wine, much milder than typical vinegar.

    It is unpasteurised and unfiltered, with no added colourings or preservatives. Production waste is biodegradable, in keeping with the natural character of the whole process.

    Intended use

    For anyone who wants a fruit vinegar in the kitchen for everyday drinking and cooking, without the sharp, typically vinegary taste and smell.

    How to use

    1. Diluted: 1-2 tablespoons of vinegar in 250 ml of water or juice
    2. In a vinaigrette: 1-2 tablespoons (15-30 ml) in a homemade salad dressing
    3. For marinating meat, fish or tofu
    4. In a switchel: with ginger juice, water and maple syrup
    5. As a flavouring for salt and vinegar crisps

    Storage

    Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight; the fridge works too. Over time a cherry vinegar mother may form on the surface, with some sediment at the bottom. This is a natural sign of an unprocessed product - the mother can be eaten or used as a starter for homemade vinegar.
